Q. How long does it take to complete training? A. That depends on you. All training is self-paced, meaning you go at your own speed. Some students complete the entire training process within 24 hours of enrollment.
Q. Can I make CDL training available to my entire organization? A. Yes. Contact us and we'll customize a package for your organization.
Q. How long before I get on the road? A. Once you have completed the training and taken your state’s written Commercial Driver’s License exam, you will need to complete a hands-on portion of training and then take the driving skills test. Program graduates who have completed the written CDL exam often receive tuition discounts and preferred registration at truck driving schools. If you need assistance in locating a school to take the driving part please give me a call at 866-817-4621.
Q. Do I need to complete the whole course? A. No. We do recommend each student complete the sections relevant to the type of CDL for which they are applying. This will ensure you're 100% prepared for the exam. You may purchase only specific sections if you wish. Just select the courses you'd like on the products page.
Q. Do I have to use a truck school to further my training? A. OnlineCDLtraining can be used as either as continuing education for existing truck drivers or as a part of a complete CDL training program. To obtain your CDL license, additional hours are required at a truck driving school or certified training center for the skills section of the CDL. Call Tim Scott at 866-817-4621 and he will can arrange this part of the test.
Q. Do I still need to attend classroom training at a truck driving school? A. No. The Online CDL Training program replaces classroom time for training to pass the Drivers Permit.

Q. How does the training work with my state’s CDL exam? A. Handbooks for all 50 states are included in the training. The training will help you pass the exam for any state you choose.
Q. What do I do once I complete a course? A. At the end of each course, you will be presented with an option to take a test for that course. Go over the online courses as many times as you want, and take a practice test as many times as you want.
Q. What are the computer system requirements? A. You must have Adobe Flash Player and one of the following web browsers:
Mozilla Firefox version 3.6 or greater.
Google Chrome version 6.0 or greater.
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8.0 or greater.
Apple Safari version 5.0 or greater.
Opera version 10.6 or greater.
Q. Who do I call if I am having problems installing or using the online training.? A. Call 877-792-3866 x300 and ask for technical support Monday thru Friday 8:AM-5:PM central time.
Q. How do I enroll in OnlineCDLtraining? A. Go to our products page and select the desired training you will need to take for the type of license your wanting. If your not sure what you need to buy use this chart to help find the correct license class or endorsement your wanting.
Once you complete the check out process, an email will be sent to you (Monday thru Friday 8:AM-5:PM central time) with your username and password required to log in and begin training. Access will remain available for 90 days from the date of your first log into the online training system.
